Fernanda Dias is a Brazilian cinematographer and director. She has always been connected to the arts and has felt the need to express herself artistically from a young age. She started taking drama classes and performing on stage at the age of 14.
She completed a master's degree in Cinematography at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) and also holds a BA in Film from FAAP. Her work includes commercials, music videos, documentaries, fashion films and short films in both digital and film formats.
With a strong background in editing, Fernanda has a deep understanding and passion for all aspects of film production.
In 2022 she wrote, directed and produced "Let The Sea Take Me" which premiered at Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles and was among the finalists for "Best Independent Film". It also collected awards for “Best Experimental Short” from Venice Shorts and the Los Angeles Cinematography Awards.
Fernanda is a Portuguese native speaker, fluent in English and Spanish.
